Jesse Buckley

Jesse has been involved in media production since the days of reel to reel editing, on which he cut his first documentary regarding the transformation of a traffic barrier into an object of worship. He supported the documentary habit as a broadcast engineer & assistant editor while continuing to shoot and edit personal projects, working closely with the independent producers who create content for WGBH. The piece “Speaking of Home” aired on Cambridge local access and addressed the rapid gentrification of Central Square in the 90’s. Jesse has since done work for Puma, Ford, and the Word of Mouth Marketing Association, among others, and currently works in-house at a Boston based company where he has helped create spots that have aired on the World Series and Superbowl. He and his family have lived in Somerville since 2003.
