John Long retired in 2021 after 30 years of service to the City of Somerville, 10 as a part-time Clerk of Committees and the last 20 as City Clerk. Before that he spent 15 years as the Executive Director of Somerville-based nonprofit SCM Community Transportation.
John has served as a parliamentarian and is especially interested in nonprofit governance. He’s lived in Somerville since 1989.
