Stan Eichner is a Somerville-based digital photographer who photographs forests, coastlines, deserts and other natural formations. His exhibit "What We Must Fiercely Protect" was to be held at Somerville Media Center in April and May 2020 but was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic. SMC will produce an episode of "Art Seen at SMC" featuring each of the artists who whose 2020 exhibits at SMC were cancelled in an effort to promote their work.

TeeCee Stitchery is a newly launched fiber arts practice by Tori Costa. Inspired by the quilters of Gee's Bend, Tori creates contemporary textile art using traditional techniques of quilting, embroidery and more. Drawn to color, texture and pattern, Tori uses abandoned fabric—old clothes, neglected ties, torn denim and upholstery samples--as her medium. Opening reception at Somerville Media Center: Friday, February 21 from 7 pm to 9 pm.
Art Seen at SMC features "Naturama" by local artist Ricardo Maldonado whose works are on display at Somerville Media Center from August 16 to September 25. More info at somervillemedia.org.
Brickbottom artist Pauline Lim will have works on display at Somerville Media Center from July 1 - August 14. Opening reception at Somerville Media Center on Friday, July 12 from 7pm to 9pm.
